| Store environment | –20℃~ +60℃; no dust, no corrosive gas, no direct sunlight |
Note: ATO VFD Cannot be used as a power source, it Can only be directly connected to an induction motor to control the motor speed.
Tips: Variable frequency drive overheated
Overheating is also a relatively common failure of VFD, which is mainly caused by high environment temperature, fan locked-rotor, poor temperature sensor performance or motor overheating.
For example, a 30 hp VFD displays “OH” after running for about half an hour.
Analysis and maintenance: Because the failure happens after a period of running, so the temperature sensor is not likely to be broken. Maybe VFD temperature is truly high. After power on, find the fan is slowly rotating, and there is a lot of cotton inside the shield (VFD is used in the textile industry). After cleaning the fan, VFD runs well, and doesn’t display the failure for hours of running.
