Description

This 16 AWG 6 conductor shielded high temperature electronic cable is designed for audio, control, and instrumentation applications. It features stranded tinned copper conductors with FEP insulation, an overall Beldfoil® shield and a tinned copper braid (85% coverage) for EMI protection, and a red FEP jacket for indoor plenum and outside use.

Applications

83706 is designed for extreme high/low temperature environments; chemical resistant; outdoor and burial applications; low voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, …); low voltage control (24v, …); line level audio; voice communications; panel wiring.

Construction

  • 16 AWG stranded (19×29) tinned copper conductors
  • 6 conductors: black, white, red, green, orange, blue
  • Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) insulation 
  • Overall Beldfoil® aluminum-polyester foil (100% coverage)
  • Tinned copper braid (85% coverage)
  • Red Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) outer jacket
