Tips: Precautions for using non-contact radar level sensors
- Avoid the feed port to avoid false reflections.
- The radar level sensor should not be installed in the center of the arched tank (otherwise the false echo received by the sensor will be enhanced), and it should not be installed very close to the tank wall. The best installation position is 1/2 of the radius of the container.
- According to the technical parameters of the sensor, set a reasonable minimum measurement distance (blind area) to avoid measurement errors caused by excessive liquid level entering the blind area.
- Although the radar sensor is non-contact, dust accumulation or crystallization may still affect signal transmission, and the antenna surface needs to be checked and cleaned regularly.
