Vent, 2inch – Horizontal Drum Vents Stainless Steel

Horizontal Drum Vent fits 2″ NPS bung opening of drums stored on side. Automatic pressure relief, manually relives vacuum when draining contents.
The 300S Vents is an All-Stainless vent, which is ideal for chlorinated solvents and corrosive chemicals.

• This all stainless steel 2 inch horizontal vent is the best choice for use with chlorinated solvents and corrosive chemicals.
• It threads into the 2 inch NPS bung opening of drums stored horizontally.
• Lift the spring loaded knurled knob and turn to set it to open to vent pressure build-up and to relieve vacuum when draining drums.
• Manual venting

• Note: To prevent evaporation of the product contained in the drum, it is advisable not to leave the vent open for an extended period of time.
• Caution: Drums of flammable liquids exposed to heat or fire will build-up a dangerous amount of pressure.
• In the event of a fire or exposure to excessive heat, an emergency vent (center disc) will detach from the center of the vent to prevent the drum from rupturing and fueling the fire. Additionally, a built-in flame arrestor prevents “flashback” ignition of the vented vapor to the drum contents.
