Stop using ordinary wrenches to do the job. This Yellow IBC Valve Wrench is worth a shot. A one-of-a-kind carbon steel wrench that makes IBC replacement a breeze. Fit the IBC valve wrench onto the valve collar, then put a 1/2 inch drive extension (10-inch extension recommended) into the valve wrench’s 1/2 inch drive hole, followed by a ratchet-style adjustable torque wrench.

The IBC valve wrench fits into the narrow space that most IBC valves are surrounded by. Fits 2″ valves on Banjo ® or plastic collar Schutz ®, new style Schutz ®, Mauser ®, Hoover, and Replatainer IBC valves, as well as new-style Schutz ®, Mauser ®, Hoover, and Replatainer IBC valves.

While tightening the collar to the torque specified in the IBC manufacturer’s closure instruction, hold on to the extension.
